Do I need to create a traditional account?
Family Duuo is designed to get you started quickly. The app uses Firebase authentication in the background to create a secure app identity and connect your data to your household.
How do I add someone to my household?
Create a pairing code from your household and let the other person enter that code in Family Duuo. Pairing codes are intended to be shared only with people you want to join your household.
Why does Family Duuo ask for calendar access?
Calendar access is optional and requested only for features that use your device calendar, such as showing calendar information or exporting a Family Duuo event. You can deny access and continue using the rest of the app.
Why does Family Duuo ask for camera or photo access?
The camera and photo library are optional. They are used when you choose to digitize a handwritten or printed shopping list from an image.
How do notifications work?
You can choose whether to receive a personal daily overview and calendar reminders. Notification settings are personal to each user and can be changed from the app.
Can I leave or delete a household?
Members can leave a household, while household owners have additional controls for membership and ownership. Household deletion is protected to avoid accidental loss of shared information.
Where is my shared data stored?
Family Duuo uses Google Firebase services to provide authentication, database and cloud functionality. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
